Fish tanks, hardware cloth pens, or sometimes rabbit cages if I have enough chicks.

I put the lights away! I just keep the dishes and pens up.

The small ones like this I only use for 2--3 chicks, and only for the first few days. Or, if they're quail, longer. I have larger ones.
These chicks were only in here while their regular brooder got cleaned.
