I can’t, I’m at the grocery store. But I will as soon as I get back. Can’t buy a new tank tonight but I can at least change the water and filter.

Get a 150 gallon rubbermaid stock tank, and build your own filter.

Thanks! I’ll try to find one of those. Would slightly smaller be good if I can’t find one of those? I’ll see what they have in stock. It’s just I don’t want to spend a ton because I’m going to be moving them in the spring. Anything will probably be a major improvement right now.

But I’ll try to find the 150 one.

Is a filter hard to make? Because part of the reason I haven’t set the pond up yet (besides having too much going on all summer and it being fall now) is because of the huge expensive of buying a filter, pump, skimmer, tubing, etc. and I don’t want to shell out the money for a huge fish tank from like Petco because those are a bit of a rip off and you don’t get much for the price. I think a stock tank would be a better value. I do need to do something though. I’ll find a stock tank.

I can’t. I’m not home. Plus people would murder me. It’s not really nasty per se but it is only like half full atm. I just checked the other day. Also there’s a lot of bubbles on top for some reason. Never had that happen before.

I can even draw you up a design for a filter, it would probably be basically a scaled down design of what I use on my pond.

I would love ducks but my dad hates them for some unknown reason and doesn’t even like their eggs so I’m trying to be good/respectful lol I think I might get some anyway eventually though.

Just not for a while.

Quail are first.

Then maybe parakeets or rabbits or a dog.

And they’re supposed to ship out tomorrow.

Thanks! They're already spoiled! They've figured out that chirping gets them attention - and they love to cuddle in your hands. They have a rolled up towel under their brooder plate, but I guess nothing snuggles quite like a warm body ... and it didn't take them long to figure that out!

Thanks!! That makes sense. I was thinking of ordering one online. Figured off the shelf wouldn’t be too good. Are ordered ones not much better? I appreciate you drawing it for me. Although, maybe this is a stupid question, but what do you put in it? Like use for the media? I don’t see that anywhere? Maybe I am missing it?
