Thank you! How was your hatch?

It was a good hatch. 12 out of 18 hatched, they were shipped eggs as well, and a couple weren't fertile either.

2nd candling (day 7) of the buttons....I ordered 12, received 20. removed 1 non-fertile and have 3 or so “maybes” that have wonky air cells or too dark to really see. But I have several “swimming aliens” or “wigglers”

Eggs went into lockdown today.

I used a shelf liner in the incubator to help the chicks because I had issues the last time with them walking on the incubator mesh.

I lost one out of 10 of my eggs last night. It was a quitter, it didn't want to be a chicken.

Now to wait patiently...

I don't want to clog up this thread with another one of my hatches because I already did the Halloween one, but I have a thread about this hatch.

I will most likely put all of squatches offspring on here just so I have record of everything.

I have a bunch of feathered feet chicks so far we have 6. 2 eggs were close to hatching, they might have hatched while we were sleeping. 2 are from another farm and are half Brahma. The rest are from our backyard eggs.

I have to get newer pics since there are more now.

sorry i missed this one....i ordered these and my last button eggs from purely poultry. both times i ordered 12 and received 20.

I have 8 chicks out of 10 eggs so far 1 is externally pipped so hopefully when we come back from family dinner it will be hatched!
