We decorate inside and out for Halloween. We have a huge party every year with too much food, live music, prizes for costumes, and the Maniacal Laugh and Blood-Curdling Scream Contests. This year, the theme will be ZOMBIES since it is the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's THRILLER. We plan to all go out into the driveway and do the zombie dance.

I am in Maryland. Anyone in the area that is interested in coming, drop me a message and I will send you a proper invite. The party will be on Saturday, Nov 1.

Are there still schools that let children celebrate halloween ?I remember when my kids were in grade school how much fun they had .The room mothers brought in cupcakes,drinks,and games.Then there would be a parade around and thru the school.What has happened to those days full of innocent fun? Ther aren't even Christmas pagents anymore...I miss those days

Yep our school does. Kids are to wear black or orange tomorrow. Both my boys classes are having parties and i just made 24 cupcakes covered in dirt and worms....well crushed oreos and gummy worms.

Our school put on a fall festival last Saturday. Kids did a parade down the main streen in costume and then got to play games and trunk or treat. It was a blast.

Halloween is my fave holiday too!!

I took the kids up last weekend for the parade and trick or treating around our old uptown square.

Then, the thing my daughter had waited for all year long!! THE ZOMBIE WALK!!
My friend organized the whole thing for world zombie day, and we did a walk for hunger thru the "ritzy" country club plaza. We even made the news!!

I agree, Halloween just isn't what it used to be anymore, I sure do miss having all those trick or treaters. We still go door to door. There's a "rich" neighborhood that we visit, they have always been trustworthy with their candy and have AWESOME decorations!!
I will take pics this year as we go thru.
I just love going there and seeing all the nice houses and All the kids that still go door to door!!
