Halloween :)

I'm so jealous! For several years, in three houses in two states, I've bought pounds and pounds of Halloween candy. At first, I even dressed up. In all that time, I've had one family come by. I guess I just haven't lived in Halloween friendly neighborhoods.

People up the street decorated two weekends ago for Halloween.

We do all our decorating ON Halloween.
This year we are going to be starting later though, since I have to work til 1. But I will begin unpacking the stuff soon and figuring out what more we need.

I've actually decorated for the first time since Mike was small. I even bought a light up bat and hung it...I have tree faces that get tied to the tree, and stretchie spider webs and skeletons of all types.

This is my firs post- I've been lurking for about a month on BYC...

Glad to know I'm not the only Halloween fanatic out there! I just got in the house from hanging orange fairy lights along the backyard fence. This weekend begins the intensive, all out decorating. (I know, starting late this year)

We had a party last year- HUGE hit! So, this year we're gonna try it again. Bought most of our decorations from Goodwill, keeps the cost down. As I love baking, and my husband can't stop himself from suggesting other ghoulish ideas to make, the menu got out of control last year. This year we have encouraged guests to bring something and I am going to limit myself to only 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, and 3 desserts, I think.
