Mine have recently become little hoovers under the bird feeder. My DBF hates onions, so last night they had their first onions (only 4 weeks old, no worries about eggs tasting funky). They LOVED the onions.

Silly girls.

Whole tomatoes, cut up cooked sausage, strawberries and grass (so far...still have a lot of other "leftovers" to try out on them).

Tomato keep-away is the most fun to watch!

My babies eat anything. As long as momma brings them a treat they are happy! They eat leftover rice, strawberries, bread, they like taco meat. Sometimes i buy them crickets from the bait ane tackle store. thats so funny to watch, i get in there and just turn the bag upside down and turn about 50 crickets loose. It like the chicken superbowl! My whole family likes to be here when i do that! the only thing they havent really cared for was watermelon. maybe if i cut it off the rind and into chunks they would eat it! yeah i know they are a bit spoiled!

I had no idea that chcicks ate so many things. Pasta seems to be a HIT. I'll try it.

Mealworms!

They'll kill for them. I can almost promise that if you start raising mealworms and feeding them several times a day, your chooks will forget all about your neighbor and their tablescraps!

Oh yeah. Minnows are a HUGE hit with mine too. I get the small minnows, guppy sized, they are the perfect bite-sized protein snack.
