My hatch is complete. They all made it out 4 blues and two light ones. The last one hatched out 3 this morning so her head isn't fluffed yet. Real happy with the quality. Decided I was keeping this batch. Going to collect this week to do one more silkie hatch to sell...and I will sell...lol Out of the Four hatches I've done so far I have 10 I've kept. Hopefully at least half are girls and my silkie flock will be complete.

I think one of my Calls with the too small air cell quit. The other I think is still alive so I'll be continuing on misting it. The air cell is getting larger so

And is there such a thing as "completing the flock"

Thank you guys! I am very satisfied with quality. None of these had the bigger vaults I like to see, but enough to keep it fluffy...lol And WV, I guess I should say..."complete for now". Lol

good luck on your calls are they harder to hatch than other duck eggs? I put six apricot call eggs in the inc 2 days ago I've never attempted these!

Well I take back what I said, lol. The one that I knew was alive has externally pipped! Because of the tiny air cell I already put in a safety hole for it, just in case. And the other I'm pretty sure I saw move when I was checking the air cell size. Also have a few internal pips on the others that I'll safety hole before bed tonight because I'm not sure when exactly they internally pipped during the night.

And my goose egg has drawn down! So things are progressing over here.

WV, no word from Sand Hill yet. Hoping next week, it was last backup ship date listed on the letter they sent me.

good luck on your calls are they harder to hatch than other duck eggs? I put six apricot call eggs in the inc 2 days ago I've never attempted these!

Calls are harder from what I've been told (this is my first Call hatch). A lot need assisting. Good thing I'm okay with that, lol.
