Thanks. It was so cute, he tried to push out and only his head came out, but that made it easier to get the membrane off, because I was trying not to poke him in the eye, or get the Vaseline in the eyes or beak. Once he got his head out, I slathered the wing and peeled it off.

Good thing it was easier..

Me too! They look like little miniatures of my lavender orpingtons

The one on the bottom was the last assist. Still a bit matted with stickiness, but it will fluff up!

Pekin duck. I took these eggs from the mothers nest because she was no longer broody. Also the eggs have different hatch dates that I don't know. I had one like this the other day it internally pipped and then just sat like that for two days so I made an air hole put it in raised the humidity and it died.
