Lol! How about some unrelated chicken advice, since my eggs aren't very exciting?
I had to handfeed my parrot when I first got him a month and a half ago but he was nearly weaned so I didn't go through much of the formula at all. I cannot tell you how handy that stuff has been for the chickens. First I used it to save my little naked neck cockerel from a bout of the weirdest impacted crop/sour crop ever because it was liquid food and still passed through the crop. I also just had to use it to save a silkie chick that was having problems. It was huddled and not moving so I scooped it up, brought it in, pumped a syringe full of the formula into it and now it's up and around and fine and eating and drinking with gusto. So it wouldn't be a bad idea to pick some up to have on hand. It lasts for a long time.
It's super quiet in here! Anyone have anything in the incubator? I've got some due the end of this week and then I'm likely done for the year.

Yep, more ayams! Probably my last for the year, although if the girls lay through the winter I may do a batch or two. Perhaps for the NYD hatchalong - but then that wouldn't be this year would it? So I'd still have been done for the year![]()
True...lol unless you have early hatchers. But you'd still be incubating another batch this year even if they waited until the first.
