I assume it's downstate?
This year it'll either be in Rome or Harpursville.

I think we get the idea of what you love...!![]()
Congratulations!
Congrats. You're crazy, but congrats....lol
Oh, that's wonderful! Ma always told us that a new baby was God's promise of a tomorrow! Congratulations!
Whenever my egg production drops I add "Rooster Booster" (thanks to Ravyn's advice) to the water and I swear it jumps right back up!In other news. Egg production is so down now.... I collected 4 eggs today...lol mid summer I was getting on average 19 a day. Then I had 4 go broody and half of them started laying in secret spots I couldn't find and I was getting about a dozen a day. Then we started loosing daylight and I have been getting 7 or 8. Now 4.
K! Lots of
Great pics! What's your boy:girl ratio? Blooie, you are right...they do still look very young. Another month or two and you'll see them really start maturing.Long overdue photos of the Apple Dumpling Gang.... The darks: Pocket Lint (Pockets, for short)

Phred (Now, this may well be another shot of King Tut, but then again the shot of King Tut might be just another shot of Phred - they look so cotton pickin' identical that it's hard to tell. The only way WE know is because Phred is a chicken chicken - afraid of everything - and King Tut acts like the world is Tut's!)

How are they doing? How many did you get again?Lol I hear ya. We have 4 that are almost grown now and they still look to be changing everyday. They just keep getting fluffier lol. The ones we got from @RubyNala97 are only a few weeks now but I'm so excited to watch them grow and change.![]()
I'm not familiar with the color but seeing as it's a project color there may be variations still..? I'd love to see pics. Also I need some solid blacks. May contact you in spring. Also, is anyone experienced with lavender silkies? The ones I hatched from those eggs that came from a person different from the seller are making me wonder if they are actually lavender. They could just be really light lavender, but one also has a dark spot of feathers on it like paint silkies do. I'll have to get some pictures.
Have a few more and it all starts blurring together!!Of course, I used to not understand how a mom couldn't remember her kid's birth weight and time and all that and now I have to struggle to remember that...lol
Ooohhh. Gonna try this. Bookmarked. But I have to have relish in deviled eggs to eat them (I'm weird). I'll just add that one ingredient and follow the rest to a tee! They taste fine....you just gotta get past how they look. See? https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/blooies-rockin-deviled-eggs
Yay!! Has it continued? Mine did this once and I was so excited but then realized it was only that one time. :/My silkies took themselves in the coop to go to bed tonight for the first time ever!!! It only took how long? Every single night since they've been in the coop, I have had to pick them up and take them in. I was so excited to see them in there by themselves tonight. Maybe this drop in temp made them come to their senses.
X2!!!!Mine aren't that smart. 29 degrees last night and they still stayed in a puddle in front of the run door. I'm more heartless - if they ain't going in with the rest of them then they can just stay there!![]()
CONGRATULATIONS!! You are seriously nuts though!!Well not chicken related but we just found out we are pregnant with our 5th child. I must really love his lmao.
