Just talked to the landlady, and she is very happy with us as renters. She does not mind my menagerie a bit and I give her extra eggs (when the birds are qo-operating). We talked about getting a new year's lease when this one was over, and she likes that idea, it's a win-win situation for both renter and rentee. But we (DH and I) have talked about eventually buying the place, 4 bed 2 bath manu on an acre, and it seems her and her hubby have talked about offering it to us if we still loved it when we were ready to buy. I was thrilled to hear this from her. It's outside of town, the neighbors aren't too close, no one notices my flock. Having an acre means my pet goat has a nice home, I'll be bringing over a mini-moo from Mom's farm. It'll be my own piece of heaven! I'm so happy right now. I hope it lasts
