Well, we are getting ready to go to a Thanksgiving pot-luck. I get to bring the duck-bread . This is my first time with this particular motif, so be gentle... Start with some flour and yeast... Add some eggs.... Gotta be duck eggs (one had a thinner shell so the knife nicked the yolk). Mix it all up with some sugar and butter and milk. Once it is well mixed... Add flour... Add flour... Add plumped raisins to one half... Let rise... Punch down then put the raisin part inside the non-raisin part. Make look roughly like a duck and let rise. Bake and MMMMM.... Duck-bread!
