Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

I bought it on Amazon so I can exchange it. I think they send a new one and then I have a month to ship this one back. The first one I got from another store the heating element screws were out and the plastic was broken. Lol.

Thinking I should exchange it and see. ok have it set to exchange. the new one won't be here till April 3. Should I set the eggs in this one then when the new one comes warm it up and get it ready then transfer the eggs? Would the temp being lower for a couple days or inconsistent hurt the eggs or prevent them from starting? I know a bit lower can make them slower to develop, but if it holds around 99 would that be ok for 3-4 days and not really change much?

Well that's great that they are sending you a new one! You don't need to send that one back? I do think it should be just fine at 99 for a few days. Remember I mentioned a friend was even able to get a few to hatch at 92! And it feels weird to bring this up but some people have even had moderate success incubating for short periods of time in their bra so...long story short, a few days should be just fine, there are optimal settings and there are a lot of things people get away with.

The candler on this works pretty good. I grabbed a roll of electirical tape and darkened the top, also made a little nest for the eggs to sit on. This one is a clear.

I used a flashlight on them to check for life before sitting them on the candler. . . Didnt want to drop any live ones. . . .

And the olive eggs really are super difficult to see through. All showing some veining to my eye though.

I do have to send the other one back or they charge me for it, but I have till April 22 to send it back.

I have read about the bra incubation things. Hopefully I can get the temp to stay up and it won't be a problem or concern.

Awesome!!!! I can't wait to see that with some of mine.

Uh oh... is this a blood ring? In pictures I’ve usually seen it going around, not up and down. :hmm

This does appear to be a blood ring but I don't like making that call from pictures because it's much hard to tell from an image than in person and there's really no way to tell what causes an early quitter but if it's especially dirty then it's possible that it was from bacteria.

Will this incubator handle duck and goose eggs?

Yes but you will either need to hand turn the eggs or buy an aftermarket turner insert from Etsy to hold the different sized eggs! :) I purchased 3 different sizes. One for quail, one for ducks/turkeys/peafowl, and one for geese.
