Leyla I am so pleased to hear that Lollie is back to his old self again. I know how much better that will make you feel. I sympathise with him as regards the lightning storm though but hopefully it has passed now and he will feel happier again.

Yes, my Lollie is back to his old self and feeling quite good. This morning he had the "zoomies" and wouldn't stop with the toys! I love when he feels good. It is so hard to know WHAT'S going on inside their bodies. And once we do know and they get healed back up, it's a wonderful feeling!

Clear skies this morning but more rain is predicted for later today. I told Lollie yesterday, "Gosh Lollie, you just survived some wicked surgery at the vet's office and now you are scared of a little thunder and lightening??"

Good to hear you had a nice time and that Zak was well behaved whilst there. Such a shame he was naughty loading again though! Have you tried one of those Monty Roberts dually halters? I’ve had one for Harry for years as he used to be wild as the wind going out to the field. A little ground work in the round pen with him and it and the change was remarkable. From getting to the gate and just having to let him go (if you’d manage to hang on!) to being able to walk in & turn around the gate plus actually get the dually off was a big achievement for us! I’m terrible for worrying about H Does not take a lot for him to be shaking cold, he’s such a fairy! Flies are bad again here this aft. Both him and Bran looked like cows again with them all landing on their faces. It’s breezy yes but still feels humid. Car was saying 24c this aft. I got coops cleaned out this aft too and de mited again! Had to get in the shower straight away after I finished as I felt itchy I seem to have got on top of them for now but some are still there. The battle may be won for now but the war is definitely not over!

No flag again but I’m hoping for tomorrow

Hope you are back in routine Barbara and you have no waking at 2am again in a panic! Strange isn’t how your brain suddenly wakes you with things like that!

Great to hear Harry was just fine this morning! I was helping you worry overnight and didn't sleep well myself.

Always something to worry about, especially when the cat didn't come home or teenagers are out late! I hope Charlie feels better soon.

But I'm glad all worked out for you!

No worry tonight as everyone is home already! Should not rain either until the morning so H should be ok! I could head to bed now and it’s only just before 8pm!
Charlie is feeling better thank you. All self inflicted but he’s had a tad of sympathy from me today. Keeper is taking Charlie feeling a bit weak to whole new level of over powering He got him trapped on the sofa today! It started off as a nice cuddle!

Aww...cute pictures! Animals know when the opportunity arises to take advantage and climb to the top of the order! I am glad Charlie has recuperated. I am way past all that "night life" stuff. I don't think I could survive a hang over my age. Might kill me!

I’m way past it too Leyla! I just can’t take the hang over the next day! Charlie is reasonably sensible and it was a parent supervised party so a few drinks I don’t mind. Plus I can’t really say no when I was far worse than him at that age I’d rather him have a few now supervised than him getting to 18 and going mad on the town! That happened to his cousins. His auntie is really anti drinking and tried to keep her kids in the nest so they never went to parties or had a drink at home. As soon as they turned 18 they were out in town getting themselves into a real mess as having a drink was all new to them! I’m hoping because we run quite a relaxed house here with Charlie there won’t be any nonsense when he turns 18!

I totally agree with what you say here. If parents interact with this sort of thing instead of trying to keep them from it, when kids come of age, they arent going to go hog wild when they can! It also helps having children that can come to you with any trouble, question or issue, so it helps to be open with them. Children with strict parents that try and keep them from the world, will head to the streets for answers. I think you are raising Charlie in a wonderful way Kim!!

Lollie is doing fabulous, better than pre-surgery! The antibiotics are really helping kill off this infection and wow, he is so hyper!! LOL I love it and am so glad he feels good.

Hows the weather up there Kim? Yesterday had a hint of fall in the air. It was cool all day, the sun seems less harsh, shadows are getting longer, I am so ready for fall!! Still raining here too, which is very nice.

Yeah I was Leyla Bad dreams had me awake Totally bizarre/bonkers and enough to wake me bolt up right! Now it’s just after 7am so I’m late up & cant get motivated

Oh you poor dear! I've had dreams like that in the past. No fun what so ever!! Leaves you frazzled the next day for sure.
