Thanks! Funny, I took an old used 2x6 and an old flag pole dowel and set up a roost for the chickens. They love it! They use it daily. If I go to it and tap it with my finger they will come and jump on it and I can take photos of them! They also just get on it when THEY want to! Silly chickens.

My white Orpington hen crowed yesterday, and it sounds just like Harvey, but not quite that loud. Was tending to the broody and her little ones when I heard it the first time, and went WTH is that??? I turned around and she was on the roost in the run and did it like 4 more times.

Jethro is growing up and now he and Harvey are having crowing wars. Either one may start it but the crowing will go back and forth for an hour before they tire. I was going to sell my Jethro and another up and coming juvenile rooster but my husband does not want me to. . .? I told him he will have to build another run and for them if we keep them!!
