Has Anyone Raised Murray McMurray's Delaware Broilers?

Skinned him. Not boiling water for one bird. 2lb 15oz carcass. He was small when I got him. Previous owners believed in feeding a chicken their allotted amount per day. He also had 11 hens to woo and 5 acres to roam. I’m assuming if he was contained a little bit, and fed better the first 8 weeks of his life, he’d have another pound on him.
 
Figure after ice water dunk, he will rest in the fridge and be grilled Friday night.
Updated post with weight. Excuse the dirty dishes.
 
Man of his word! He looks just the right size to split in half and grill.

Almost 3 pounds is a fine weight. Especially without skin and giblets.
