I am looking forward to an exciting week coming up here on this thread - I guess most of us will be going into lockdown! Mine go Monday. Keep us posted on what's going on with your hatch!

I candled my sebastopol goose egg last night and I saw bright red veining!![]()
I was sure that the emrbyo died, but it looks like it's just slower developing. It's on day 19, so 10 days until hatch.
I'm very excited! I really want a sebastopol goose, but I'm a college student and I can't afford one. All my hopes for a goose are in this egg, no pressure, hahaha. That's great news! I know you are so happy about that!

I also received a bunch of ducklings for valentines day! They are the cutest things, but they are extremely messy. Does anyone else on here plan to do the Easter hatch-a-long as well? I'll probably be setting some cochin eggs.

we have 11 under mamma and 1 piped. we had a close call with one last night. he hatched too close to the outside under the hen. we found him still partway in the shell . he was cold wet and unresponsive. we brought him in and warmed him up over the open stove door. after we got him to peeping and moveing we stuck him in the bator for about an hour. took him 10 min to start to peep. he's back with mamma now.
went out this morning and saw 3 little yellow heads poking out from under mamma's breast. may get some pics later.
