Day 6, I just candled, and all 6 of my SLW were looking back at me and moving around! Still have questions about the eggs from my non-crested SFH. Gonna give them a few more days. The ones from my crested SFH are looking good.

Today is day 13. I just candled my 22 eggs & pulled out 4 clears. There are several others that are iffy, so I'm leaving them for now.
Twelve are definitely growing and swimming circles inside the shells. Unfortunately, ten of those are grocery store eggs that I threw in there on a whim. Only two of mine look like they're developing. I'm wondering if my rooster has fertility issues...
There's a whole thread dedicated to hatching grocery store eggs. I tried it once and only hatched out 2 chicks, but others have been much more sucessful. You will need to look for eggs labeled as fertile and then pick out the most recent carton. Sometimes (not always) eggs that are labeled free range are fertile too. It's always interesting to see what kind of breeds hatch out.Wait....did you say GROCERY STORE EGGS?
