Hatch Date - - November 3 - -> Anybody Hatching With Me ? ?

I bought an incubator so I could see what happened with two eggs in it.. They're due Nov 3!
The day I put the eggs in it.. A hen of mine went broody.. she has 7 or 8 eggs under her, but got pushed off her nest and chose the next one over two days in a row.. so i built her a broody house. She's probably going to hatch hers around the 5th..
I'm going to try to put my day olds under her when it's dark one night.. hoping she'll accept them!

I'm with u. Same with temps here highs lows can't get it right. Hot water themo
Different temp and panicking about the humidity it hardly goes up! On One bator. That be a panic not muchspace for loads a sponges

But they growing and kicking.

I have some 31st. Then 3 nov

Will tweak it then add few LF

So far they are all silkies. If I get one hen I'll be happy. Black and whites.

I have some set for 30 Oct and another 10 or so set for the 6th. So YEAH! I'll join ya!

The lady I got them from has EEs, Wyandottes, Barred Rocks, Australorps and some others.
She runs each breed in its own pen but hard to know which pen she pulled from for my lot.
I already busted 2 EE eggs and one had a little blob in it!

You may be able to tell - - -the EE's should be colored.

The australorps should be tan colored and the biggest.

My wyandottes are light tan and smaller than the EE's eggs.

Your barred rocks - - light tan eggs bigger than EE's, but I think a LITTLE bit smaller than the australorp's eggs

I have a few under my silkie hen day 7 so I'm a bit behind you. Won't she be surprised when they come out millies:lol:

We have three EE eggs under our first time broody Buff Rock. She is due Nov 3rd - we'll see how it goes - I haven't candelled any of the eggs yet - we've been working today to try to locate a Marek's vaccine (online Jefferslivestock has it - but $15 plus shipping for 3 potential chicks! -it would be great to find some more local!).
Does anyone know if you can mix just a portion of the Marek's vaccine?
