I have an egg i taped on day 1 due to a small crack. My official lockdown starts tomorrow. So i have a small window of time to take action.
Should i remove the tape? Otherwise how will the chick pip and zip?

Are you sure that egg developed?

Can you candle it real quick and get a clear picture of what you're seeing inside?

Yes, it developed and saw slight movement. So, looking good. Just concerned about pipping threw the tape.

Is this the same egg as you posted in your other thread?
No. I'm hatching 14 eggs in a brinsea incubator. 7 are lavender orpington. 7 are salmon faverolle. The taped one in this thread is a salmon faverolle. The other with half the egg empty is an orpington. All other eggs seem normal development.
