Hatching ducklings, help.

Hi, I have a silver welsh harlequin duck nesting. She’s been sitting for 31 days now and no ducklings yet. Does anyone know what to do? Thank you!

Blue Swedish female
Silver Swedish female
Silver welsh harlequin female
Golden welsh harlequin female
Production Rouen female
Production Rouen drake

I'd candle the eggs to see if there is any sign of development.

I’ve been candling the eggs and about eight look ready to hatch. The last two or three days I have heard a little bit of pecking from a few eggs.

One duckling is trying to hatch I think... but it’s not chirping yet. I think it might have gotten step on by the mother duck and not actually ready to hatch. What do I do? Do I help it out or just leave it in the nest?

Blood is a bad sign. It needs time to absorb all of the blood so don't open it up any more. If you have an incubator you can put it in there to finish hatching but make sure it's the right temp and high humidity.
