Hatching ducklings with a incubator for the first time.

Hi, I am trying to hatch some of my ducks eggs in the incubator and have some questions.

1. Are there Supposed to be black areas on the egg, like big blood pockets?

2. Do the veins ever disappear while they are incubating?

What causes this? 5 out of 6 of the eggs have this. Does that mean I will only get one duckling? The only one that doesn’t have it is one that I dropped when turning the eggs and it’s doing fine.

Many Things Can Cause Death , You May Only End Up With One Duckling. I Have Twelve Duck Eggs In My Incubator Now & They All Looked Great At Two Weeks I Have Three Of The Twelve That Either Died Or Quit In Week Three...
