If the girls are still laying they should be fertile for a couple weeks yet.

Thank you, I was hoping that was true. I really appreciate your advice.
That should give you time to get that last order out at least. Just warn the person getting them that you lost your Tom & they may or may not still be fertile. Maybe try to send a few extras just in case some are & some aren't.

Just a request. Could we please start spelling out what we are offereing? There would be less questions as to what this or that means. Also, the amount that is being offered.

I'm assuming you are referring to the abbreviations we use. Most of us know them (EE/OE, FBCM, OEGB) & they are so commonly used on here & many other sites that we just automatically abbreviate them rather than write out full names that are 10 miles long. The standard offer is 6 eggs. I think we can safely assume if there is no number posted then it is the standard 6+ that is required.

It does take longer, but for the new people, it can be confusing. I don't mind typing it all out. We all have to learn sometime. When I started keeping chickens, all the chicken "lingo" was like Greek to me. I am getting there, but I still ask sometimes, too.

You can always post "mine" to the previous offer and post it. Then go back and edit your post. There are new people on here and some of us "older" people don't know all the chicken lingo.

I have a problem following along when someone says "same offer as before". Sorry, that just leaves me lost and confused trying figer out what the previous offer was.
