Me too, I just hate to think they may be lost somewhere without food or water...... I know you can only put so much food and liquid in a shipping box.

Remember that nothing is a surprise for God. He has plans for you and your husband. I know the unknown is hard (I've ask Him for a billboard, but nothing yet) but we just have to keep believing. It's great that you are going to school. I hope it is something you Wanted to do as opposed as to something you Have to do. I'll send up prayers....

Mine took about 5 minutes to warm up. I just got mine for Christmas. The chicks seem to love it. My only objection is I have to lift it up to check all of them. Hopefully as they get a little older there will be more "outside" time.

I've always wanted to do something that helped others. Younger days I dreamed of becoming a vet, but working with people gives me the same satisfaction. I enjoy helping people get better and feel better, so while the money is certainly a necessity, I can actually enjoy my work and know that I'm doing something for others and helping with the greater good of things, instead of something like business, which I suck at because I tend to give more away and make no profit in the end, lol. I'm a better advocate for others than I am myself, so nursing just fits my personality.

My Swedish Olandsk Dwarfs that are coming from California are LOST in St. Louis. They have not been scanned since San Fransisco

They left on the 7th.....

Don't worry, they actually seem to be pretty sturdy little birds. Of course for me, I was able to meet her in a feedstore parking lot.

I had eggs shipped the day after Christmas that I STILL haven't seen. No tracking number, so I can't question anyone. The other eggs I had coming were wandering around without being scanned into the tracker until the 8th day even though they were priority mail. I understand completely about the postal service.

Hope they arrive healthy and well.

Bettacreek, I was a social worker for years working the abuse hotline. One day I just could not take it anymore. Wanted to work with kids, not abusive parents. I went back to school and became a teacher. Drastic cut in pay, but the best thing I could have done for my mental health. I love going to work every day. The kids are a joy. Hope you have the same experience.

I left my EcoGlo on for 15 min. and put in chicks. They LOVE IT. I also had not thought of the inconvenience of not "seeing" them, but they are much quieter and more content. It was a little pricy, but if it works I can see a couple more in the future.

These are the wayward chickens - She sent me pictures and let me approve them before shipping. I hope they are ok
