Are you hatching your eggs for them, or just hatching eggs they bring you? I have not had anyone ask me to hatch their eggs...luckily they just want me to hatch some of my breeds for them. I wouldn't know what to charge, good question!

I had three people at the feed store today ask me if I would take their eggs and hatch them out... Now that I can do 300 eggs I expected to have some ask if I would hatch MY eggs for them, but was not prepared for someone to ask to bring their eggs to me....

the cost here is between 1 and 2 per egg.

I've seen people here do it and they charge $1.00 an egg. the people sign a waver stating that there is no guarantee in the hatch rate but photos are taken during incubation etc so they know all info. to cover your rear more than anything.
Just remembered my second question - I'm getting request from people to hatch eggs for them. Do any of you do this and if so, how much do you charge??

Does anyone have a spare Marans Pullet or Hen. I have this lovely Marans roo who can't wait for his girls to grow up. Right now he is servicing some of my EE's. Lol..... Doesn't matter on the color but they need to be feather legged. Probably need to be shipped unless I am close enough to pick up.

I don't know what is going on with these OE chicks! I have had 12 hatch and 5 die! Most have large amounts of yolk sac unabsorbed. What could cause them to hatch before they are ready? I have at least one egg still peeping, but i had to open the incubator and take chicks out.

Thanks for the information. I did not think about a waver, but it makes sense.
