Ill think about it. I guess I'm just so nervous about shipping live birds after the whole bresse fiasco. Though my birds are super healthy so I guess it shouldn't be an issue. I worm them every quarter and feed them fermented goodies and they have large pastured yards. If you're okay with it I would consider it in spring.

ok so the guy with the White Ams I am bidding emailed me back and said that his breeders have slate legs. We will see, either way I hope I win. I really want some white ams.

So seriously, what in the world are we doing hatching all these chicks???? My husband is so going to kill me, I don't think he has a clue as to how many I actually have incubating right now....

Did anyone ever come up with a list of our "names" on the RBA site or eBay? I have wanted to bid on several things, but backed off when I thought I was bidding against someone here. I know we all have the right to go ahead and bid, but if we keep swapping, we will more than likely eventually get some of the offspring. I hate for us to be bidding each other up.... I know I am the same on RBA as I am here.... I know someone had mentioned needing a list, I just never knew if it materialized...

I would love a list as well! My username is the same on RBA.

Cool!  Have been waiting for non-white Bresse.  I'm just not a white fan, but have wanted to get a flock of Bresse going for the table.

I'm generally not a fan of white birds because they aren't usually bright and clean looking, but I love the white Ameraucanas (somehow make me think of snow). We do have White Bresse though. I was prepared to not like them, but they have surprisingly grown on me. They are friendly, very inquisitive, and great little foragers. So far, they are still bright white, but they haven't been out in the Louisiana rain yet. :)
