whew. I was getting worried. I have Donna's wheaten and lav ams in lockdown, due to hatch today. Nothing going on...then I went in there and saw a pip! I have not had good luck with wheatens, this is pretty much my last attempt. My pretty roo will have to go if these eggs and some from one other swap...shoot me but I can't remember who? do not do well. I think there are some breeds that are not meant for some people to have.

that WH/BW are not on that list for me!

I feel the same way!! I love them. Was able to get about 7 hatched last spring. Out of a couple dozen. Atleast 4 dozen. Lost all but 1 to a dog attack. I have been trying all winter to get more to hatch. A couple weeks ago I had 6 make it to lockdown and then quit on me. And finally right now have some hatching!! I have 2 out and 2 more pipped. And about 10 more waiting on. These are going to be the best spoiled chickens EVER!!! lol
