ok I had to make sure those were not mine, as my very special orp babies are in transit somewhere since yesterday. These are my christmas bday valentines day next christmas present... you get the idea. But they are not them, I hope the owners of these poor babies are located!!

Just got off the phone with PayPal, and I feel relieved but still sad over those poor baby turkey eggs. Sure hope he doesn't throw them out.

You guys are right. I did do nothing wrong. I did try to make things right and if that is unacceptable to him then he can just go stick his head in a bag and fight for air.

My hubby thinks he was after free eggs all along.

Thanks proTi! Just candled the 40 I have set and tossed two. Now I need to go give Frankie a good stern lecture that if he can't keep up with those girls he better stop doing synchronized strutting with Fred and Ralph and let them get busy. So I still have 38 going and am looking to get some more set soon. I may have a dozen to trade with you next week depending on orders and swaps. Let me know if you have room for them.

Home from the feed store with an actual bag of shavings and no chicks. They didn't have any of the layer-type birds I wanted.

I would go with a little giant (most tsc's have them) that is what we ran last year. We had 5

can you say overkill??? All of them in my bedroom. The only problem is getting the humidity stable.

Ok, need hatching prayers... I have my GF choc wyandotte eggs going into the hatcher tonight. Those are the most important- also have rhodebars that cost me just as much as the wyandottes that I got on ebay and more silver penciled rocks from die fly ranch.

never got to candle them due to the hatches being continual in the incubator- hopefully that is taken care of and we will have our 2nd sportsman set up to just hatch until my turner motor comes in.
