What kinds of chickens is your son looking for?

He still wants barneveldars, cream legbars, lilac orphingtons, something else that I forgot. I know he's also looking for some good heritage RIR or NHreds. But then he starts looking and wanting more and more.

He loves the turkeys too but they are my babies. I think everyone should have a turkey to love. I let him keep four from our Christmas hatch, but really I wanted them too.

Oh wow! I have to admit, I've never noticed that. Then again I don't have any marans laying yet Also not a horribly humid climate here -- I have no idea what would cause that but it looks pretty cool, actually

If they have lines like that you can still ship them to me. We will still love them.

MMM.... I named my trio from GF Cadbury, Hershey, and Godiva.

speaking of.... My hen was clucking around this morning like she was going to lay an egg!!! looking forward to that day. Rooster started crowing a lot yesterday. Maybe my chocolates will leave me a present tomorrow!
