this question is for anyone with seramas....is their incubation time the same as with other chickens? I have heard the same and I have heard 18 days?

I set them the same as other eggs, but keep an eye on them as I have had a couple hatch in the turner before I moved them all to lockdown! The "normal" for my group is the same as Beth's, about a day early.

Got some pens done this weekend. all that is left to do is build the roof over them. I have 7 brooders full of chicks and 150 eggs in the batar. Ant the pheasants are starting to lay

Just wanted to pop in and thank Crystal for my fantastic box of eggs from the UofA project. The USPS actually came through for us. She shipped these out Saturday and they got all the way here to me in Calif this morning. In excellent condition! This lady knows how to pack those eggs. We're doing the happy dance around here as I've been wanting these Black Sumatras forever!! Thanks again Crystal, it is very much appreciated.
