Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

It's the same here, my Big R has chicks a week after they come in, they've actually been canceling orders the last week+ because they aren't selling. Ducks on the other hand, they still sell out in a day.

Yep, they only had three ducks left, and I was sorely tempted to take home the Cayuga...  Geese gone, also all of their "Araucanas"  which are Easter Eggers.  Tons of the basics though.
I was in my local feed store just a couple days ago, they were unloading their order of EE, NH, and BR chicks, and trying to figure out what to do with the 300 unlabeled, unordered white chicks that had also arrived! Guess its a good thing they sell big feed tubs and heat lamps. At least they were pullets, hatchery had put a pink dot on each head but used way too much paint, some of the chicks where 75% pink.

This chick is from my dorkinqs the non-standard colored ones.
I have NO IDEA what to call this color, but here are a few shots of my favorite little girl (I think she's about 6 weeks old):

Its like both the red AND the black have been lightened. not sure if by the same mutation or not. the lightened red (strawberry blonde?) is outlining each feather with the blue/qrey in the center.
her size is good (compared to her hatchlings) her feet are nice and her comb has 6 nice, even points so far and no side sprigs.

The qrey really does look more blue when contrasted with the strawberry blonde...basic color theory I suppose, since they are opposite colors on the color wheel.

I am so wondering what she is qoinq to look like as she qets older...I cant wait for her to qrow!!!!!! (and because I don't know if I can qet another like her I am so worried for somethinq to happen to her...she may become an inside bird with a diaper...

I've been noticing that each year, feed stores are having more problems selling their chicks. When I first got mine in 2010, the feed store would sell out practically every time orders came in. Now, they still have them days later and usually mark them down.

Paypal sent to Ppimf, please post here when you receive it, I will need to be cleared.. Sixth swap...

Didn't we say we would not bid against each other on RBA??? What happened with that? Sorry but I'll be standing by that. I won't bid against anyone on here.
