Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

So I hatched eggs from DMRippy and Debs_flock and the little suckers got out of their breed boxes (my bad for not assuming they where part mountain goat and could climb so high) I have 20 chicks that are a jumble and no idea what is what....Never expected I would end up with mystery chicks because of my own stupidity. Turns out barred rocks and sex link marans look exactly alike as I know for a fact 3 of each hatched but I have 6 that look identical and dont even get me started on Blue Marans and BBS Orpingtons ....

Ha ha ha, i went onto RBA which I have avoided like the plague since spending so much money on basque, legbars, rhodebars, brahmas early this year.  I wanted to bid on like 5 different things and who was top bidder on ALL of them?  someone from this forum! kraftyladies, cjwaldon.  Good luck you two!  I hope I will eventually get some choc wyandottes from you down the road!! ;-)

Now that I see my choc orps growing up, oh my goodness. Gotta love the chocolate! Definitely want some choc wyandottes

In a week or so LEG color will tell you about the BR and SLM. Marans will have white skin on their feet the BR will be Yellow. They will all be yellow for a few days or weeks. The Marans and Orps, well they just LOOK different.... time will be your friend.

Sheesh you people are chatty!! I had to skip through posts but I think I caught some important ones about the swapping and fulfiling swaps, etc as well as funny stuff about you guys bidding against each other on RBA... goodness guys!!!

Ended up setting 48 eggs for the NYDH!!! Woo-hoo!! Counting the days now!!

A side swap with CPL??? hmmmm.. I need to think about that, seriously! and those chocolate orps ARE pretty.. now I need to find a pic of the chocolate wyandottes

I might can help get you hooked up with those...... A chicken friend kinda local to me got some LF Choc Wyandottes from Foley.   They are NOT laying yet but soon.  I think he has a Choc pullet and a Split roo..... not pos on that.....  VERY PRETTY BIRDS.  I almost wanted some.....

I got my Secret Santa card today And boy was I so happy that it was a promise of Spring eggs, because the envelope had been OPENED! I guess someone in the USPS workforce thought there was money or something in there... So just be careful about sending gift cards and such this Christmas, everyone!
