I'm a Santa sleuth, figured out that my folks wrapped in the same paper as Santa. Just love a mystery, and can't rest till its solved. Santa is a dear, wonderful person, and exceptionally talented!

So I just checked my eggs in lockdown. I have 1 more SFH from KYTinpusher pipped and peeping. Also have a barred rock from secret santa internally pipped and peeping!!! New peeps by morning!!

question about ivermectin for worming? Do you guys use it or not? I have never tried to before but after having a massively wet few weeks and my own poor management of bringing in some chickens with mites and somehow forgetting to dust them even though I quarantined them!!!

anyway, ended up with a bunch of mites. I dusted my entire flock and it's time for my second dusting, but wondering if I could just use the ivermectin instead and kill 2 birds with one stone. also about to reshuffle and put everyone in their breeding pens (except the SFHs, silkies, and sizzles, and BLRW as they are already separated) so it would be a good time to do something like that. what do you guys think?

I just got a tube of Nustock today for the purpose of treating my birds with mites. It is all natural-mineral oil, pine tar, and sulphur.

I use it for internal parasites, but use dust for external ones... If you have mites, I would use something external...

I have always used the Ivomec pour on for both external and internal. seems to work great so far.

Which reminds me they are all due again!

Boy am I tired. lol pics tomorrow, hopefully before it rains and then snows, yes I cursed and said that four letter word SNOW! that is after we get rain, thunderstorms, high winds, drop in temp and then ice/snow! all in a 24 hour period!
