They are well worth raising. I'm about to clean my large cricket bin and combine the 2 Dubia colonies into one.
 
When I went to put everyone in the coop I got a couple pictures of Momma Fred. Hard to tell, but when I picked him up there were 4 chicks under him!

Ahhh, sowbugs (isopods), I raise those for my frogs too............... Although, the big spanish orange are so much like a pet I can't bring myself to feed them off.

They don't really make noise...............unless you're talking about the HUGE hissing cockroaches.
