Oh, please!

You forgot to mention that my house is seldom clean! Cleaning is NOT my strong point! Cooking, sewing, canning, gardening, painting, or spending time with my family, friends, and animals-THAT is what I would rather be doing!
Love you too, Rachael!

I wish I could say I'm good at all those things. I'm not. BUT, we do share messiness in common. I'm not a really messy kind of person, but my brain is much more organized than my desk or dresser ever are... and that's saying a lot.

Well the Blizzard is here. You can't see your hand in front of your face. We battened down the hatches as well as could possibly be done. Have 48 eggs in incubators ready to be put in lock down in less than a week, 60 or so week-3 week chicks in brooders and all seramas under heat lamps. Please say a prayer we do not loose power. It would be devastating to loose everything it has taken 4 years to build. My peafowl are being stubborn and refuse to go inside. They are setting on the outdoor roost for some reason....Guess I'll just go to bed and pray for the best. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

I have finally caught up on the tally! The update is available here: Paypal/Hatching Eggs Swap Status, Contests, Updates and Rules

Highlights:

CPL went over this week so everyone gets 17 swaps!

Congrats to Papa Brooder for being the first to "Jinx" her (second week in a row)!

Congrats to Brookhavens who claimed the 50th swap of the day on Sunday! She wins a wild card swap to be used in the week of her choice.

For all of you still working toward your initial 7 swaps that swapped during the special Christmas Eve Backwards Swap and would like credit for those swaps, let me know. I DID NOT track those hours of swapping.

I so hope you come through unscathed. That would be devastating to loose all of that.

So I woke up this morning to 2 bouncing chicks in the hatcher and one more zipping, 2 more pipped and the other 4 being stubborn. It's still early though, it's only day 20. I had some early hatchers it seems.
