I also saw the conversation about meeting people in parking lots to "exchange money for chickens" which was very funny as while the conversation was going on I was sitting in a dark parking lot at a motel to buy "poultry shipping boxes"

I have found I am so lucky. One of the box suppliers you all recommended only lives 7 miles from me... NO SHIPPING COST!!

An outcast because of my roaches.  

no way! I grew up with a kindergarten teacher who loves nature so we had the giant hissing roaches and caterpillars and other various insects and critters in tanks around the house!

I teach at a private school where the students rarely get dirt on themselves... I introduced them to many things and they LOVED it... until the school board re-vamped the hand book to name specifically what would be considered "classroom pets"

I regret ever selling my Lav stock off........biggest mistake I ever made as the woman doesnt appreciate what she got

I agree. I sold four Lav hens and a Lav roo. Really needed a black. Now I only have one, she's my amazing broody, and two black hens. I'm thinking about getting a black roo from my neighbor and starting them up again. I just love them.
