Poor little guy!! I understand how you feel. We are in SC and have the fire ants in our yard and they are nasty. So easy to step on a mound and not know it and they boil out and are on you in seconds.  It takes a long time for those blisters to stop itching and go away. One cure we were told about and have used is Hemorrhoid Paste on them. It seems to stop the itching quicker. I would love to use a really harsh chemical to kill them all, but can't do it because of our drinking water  well, chickens, ducks, dogs and people that would be exposed and harmed.
