I've noticed they are prone to neurological,issues from bonks and such..At the first sign of that type of issue they get vitamin drops!!! Never lost one yet!! Sometimes it a deficiency in their food or not processing their food the right way, taking away vital nutrients...
I cooked 40 ducks eggs tonight and split it up between the 8 pens

. Vitamins go in it too!!!

they get 24% gamebird feed and scratch grains. I noticed that his poo was real green with white in it

Poor wee'in. This is my little guy after a rogue bumble decided it had it in for him. Got him in the eye, then came back and stung his back. "All done bee, ALL DONE BEE!" He was jumpy about anything small and flying for months.

Aw! That looks so sore!! When my oldest got his first fire any bite, he wouldn't go near ants for a few months. We haven't had any bee stings yet thank god. I'm allergic so I will be freaking out over allergic reactions!

Decisions decisions! I found someone on eBay who is selling 120 quail eggs for $35 and will give me half Italians and half jumbo browns... But I only have 4 quail racks (100 eggs capacity) and I also have 18 eggs coming next week which means I'd have to run both Bators and turn 40 eggs... I think I got my genesis running again, but I'm nervous about it. I'm going to ask if he will do me a deal for 60 eggs... But some people don't like those special requests

I love riding in the snow! Don't get to do it very often in VA but there is just something magical about it.
