no pips yet - how will I "recognize" the bad egg. I looked at them before I put them in yesterday. Can I "smell" the bad egg......been lucky I guess - never had a bad one before.

I've heard of others being able to smell the exact egg, but like you, I've been lucky to not have one, yet!

Sure There's black ones and blue ones -- I want blue ones someday!!! And bredas... who's got bredas???? Though I can't really figure out what they're good for besides looking spectacular.

Not like silkies. I was wrong about silkies. Silkies definitely have a purpose!

I'm so sorry. I hope you find it. I'm sorry I wound up sending you a bad egg. I wonder if it cracked in shipment? The SBB are normally really easy to candle. Check them quickly as all I have ever hatched, hatched early. They started on day 19 all of them. I've never had one go to 21 days.

I saw the black on GFF and thought they were the only ones who had them. They did not have any for sale. Guess I have a lot to learn. Feel pretty silly now

The come in black and blue? I may try some when those are more available. I can't do the white ones. White birds are hawk bait. Well, on my place they are. White and my beloved lavender. Hawk bait. Sigh.

Bad dog just broke my nose. I was laying on the sofa and he jumped up by my head and slammed into my face. Gave me a headache.
