Here is how we dry the spent grains we get. Nothing fancy....
We usually do this outside. The bottom bucket has small holes drilled in the bottom so the water can drain. The top bucket is about 1/2 full of water for weight. Hubby puts 200lbs of weights on them to squeeze the water out. The longer you can leave them like this the dryer they are. We drain them an hour min but a day is even better. They will start fermenting in the summer.

The water will come out between the buckets too. We also have them setting on bricks so the water can come out better. This is just the winter setup.

The next step is to spread the grains out over these door screens we picked up CHEAP.

We made these racks out of some pallet tops. One set for each side.

We have 2 box fans on the back side, one small window fan under the middle.

These 2 fans are on the end. We have them on med, high just blows the grain too much after it starts to dry.

Questions, just ask.
