Dang!! Pray they come today!!!!

I just counted all the eggs Im due come Spring...Im hosed! Lol over 200!!' This doesnt even include the + 's that people put like 6+ I only counted the straight 6!!! Im going to try and make this as easy as possible for all the shippers...I will most likely ask for 1 large shipment of eggs per person...except from the folks I have massive amounts of eggs due me!, lol..I struck a dealeo with someone to make it easier for both of us...

I read you use up to 60% spent grains in your feed. I used about 1/3 in my layer feed, but I don't now. It is 22% so I don't think I need to up that and my layers are the ones making me chicken money. I mix about 40% in my pullet grower. I could mix it in the chick starter for the older chicks, I just don't. We were spending too much time mixing grains and drying them that I decided the chickens could pay for more feed so I could have more time. I used to mix ALL the feed and it was time consuming for the volume of birds I have.

With spent grains as a primary diet I would worry they are not getting everything they need even with vitamins. I would also worry about too much protein it will cause kidney problems. I think 24-26% is high enough but 30-35% is too much.

how is it I can drop off eggs at the PO sent priority and they can get to the east coast FASTER than they can to southern Oregon?!??? Can someone explain that one???? Boggles the mind!
