Gallon of milk in a large stock pot...warm up until very warm not tongue burning...add grower crumbles or a high protein feed...let it soak up unil it becomes like oatmeal..stir in veggies...walla awesome meal just prior to bed

they never finish it all so i take the big container back to use the next night...im like their maid serving the pens a few scoops at a time...I keep serving until they stop eating lol

I got an email saying my chicks shipped TODAY!!! I didn't think they were supposed to even hatch until tomorrow!!!!

Wow, finally caught up!

I was window shopping for hatching eggs on ebay this morning and I saw a listing for CCL eggs, the seller said that they are selling pullet eggs, and because they're pullet eggs they will hatch mostly females. They were also the most expensive CCL eggs listed, and no bids.

ummm....anyone heard this one before?

Sounds to me like a good story to get more money.

Anyone want to make an attempt at sexing some seramas? I have one definite roo, one that I'm thinking might be a roo, and the rest might be hennies?! I can't believe it though, how is it possible to get 7 serama eggs shipped and hatch out exactly 7, AND have only two roos?! The one is obvious though, and the other is just pinky, so maybe the other roos will show up eventually?

I wish my luck had run that way. I hatched about 25-30 seramas this year, I think I got 2-3 pullets, the rest cockerels.

I'm honestly debating on going for a fish run. Only minnows, but I can get enough to give them some as treats and freeze some for treats later.

Deb, on closer inspection and having others help, I belive only two or three are pullets. The frizzle is a roo. Was hoping to have a fizzle hen and a feather legged hen and roo.

Anyone know what would happen if I mixed my bbs copper marans with my birchens? I know ones mahagony and the other silver? Okay, I don't know, I *think*, lol. Would the offspring then throw both types?

You could get a white. CRFarm hatched 2 it seems. But I have not seen pictures so it didn't happen RIGHT? LOL I have not hatched any whites in a long time. I had one that hatched a long time ago, kept her and breed her and got 2-3 more white chicks. But I have not hatched much since then, but no more whites. UNTIL CRFarms. That I know of.... Apparently my Lavender Roo and maybe my Lavender hen are carrying rec white and silver. The silver was obvious on my last batch of whites.... that had chipmunk strips down their back. I thought, that she was a sport, but apparently not. BTW the Whites are also USUALLY Lavenders, you just can't see it for the white.
