We live in a rural area, so trips to "civilization" need to be multi-purpose and Home Depot is next to the Target so........date night at Home Depot!
Morning everyone. Well I have one more chick trying to hatch, but he has severe scissor beak. I think the hatch was cursed. I had 12 chicks hatch and 6 have died so far. I have 2 more I am not sure will make it. They just seem weak, one has a large yolk sac that he did not absorb. I am not sure what to do about the scissor beak chick. He has not finished hatching but seems strong.
sonew - how do you prevent or minimze frostbite at those temps ???? My poor roosters are a mess, I feel soooo bad. I have been using vaseline but it really doesn't help.
