Would someone PM me mzstre's mailing info? I claimed some Cayuga eggs for her from Sebrightmom which need to be shipped, and she forgot to send her info to Sebrightmom.

Thanks!

Okay... does this chick look like it could be cuckoo?? (Yes, he is on my kitchen counter, it was lysol'd afterwards, lol)

He hatched from a Delaware egg covered by my French Blue Copper Marans roo... so how would that happen?? If it is cuckoo, does that mean my roo's genes are messed up? I was hoping to get some good meat birds by crossing them... my roo has a nice broad chest and the Delaware hens are big hens and have been good layers...
I am pretty sure a non barred roo over a barred hen like a delaware makes sex links, barred cockerals and non barred pullets, so he looks just like he should.

Whenever a mod comes on, beyond my original question (why am I still in purple, not eligible on the list), will I recieve some sort of notice that I am eligible to try a swap?

Thanks!

Hi guys!!

My goodness Maya is learning fast. Her whining has gone down quite a bit. She will whine some when she's put in her area but then stops after realizing she's not getting any attention that way. She has a new playmate. The lady down the road has a young standard poodle. Maya was bouncing all around playing with her. I'm teaching her to sit now and she isn't doing too bad with potty training.

Looks like I have chicks coming tomorrow. I found out the 2 chicks I thought were Blue Partridge Brahmas are actually blue Columbian Brahmas. So I have 2 more coming tomorrow along with some Black Bresse chicks and some SFH chicks for someone else. Not a bad week so far. I'm beat though. Thank goodness for 3 day weekends.
