so 2 quad boxes with labels for 20 lbs each.Lets say two roosters at 3 pounds each, and 14 hens at 2 pounds each... So a total of 34+ lbs of chickenness
Oh...so interested! Hubby likes tails, especially long onesAnyone interested in Flyties?
I have some Ohiki x Flyties that I got from Onagadori last year, will be separating them out for breeding in a few weeks. They are Bantams chickens that are super super soft because they have no shafts in their feathers. Roosters grow these really LONG saddles that are used to tie fly's for fishing.
Will be offering them soon in my swaps![]()
here seramas herducks is delivering to madamwlf
I re did my serama pens again to 3 pens with 5 hens each and 1 roo, any less and the roo;s abuse the hens too much!!
A few of those serama chicks might get lost on their way to madamNa I would not do that. I was planning 3 serama hens to 1 rooster, is that not enough? Should I plan a 5 to 1 ratio? What size are your pens. mine are 30" X 45" now, but I can make them bigger.![]()
Lol! Thanks! My baby is all grown up now (5 years old, LOL). Those lav ams are so worth keeping though!Well, I broke down and I am keeping a few of the chicks I hatched this week. I said I wasn't going to keep anything until it was warm here. Last year I had 300+ electric bills. I hatched the fluffiest cheeked Lav Ams that I just had to keep 'em. They look like Bettacreeks avatar (everytime I see her I just wanna smooosh those wonderful cheeks) how could I resist anymore?![]()
