ETA: called. They broke down on the hill, so they're sending another bus. I get slightly paranoid when they're not home when the should be.

Ha I know what you mean! I have to drive down a mile long gravel road to wait for the bus. The other day it is 15 minutes late and I had forgot my cell phone. I panic thinking that I missed it and the school is going to call and get no answer and my son is going to feel stranded. So I turn around to get my phone and as I get back there goes the bus! I ended up following behind his bus back to school to find out it was a substitute who didn't know the route. Sigh...

Watching the snow blow in, very pretty, but I'm honestly quite ready for spring to hit.

Had some handling time with the chickens and ducks which DS2 absolutely adores. Couple pics of him with one of the Muscovy ducks - think this is a drake, looks like he's got a black spot coming in on his head. Man these guys grow FAST!

so sorry to hear, we have a son who is special needs(not severe, but we also don't know to what degree) I feel your pain, he does not understand when he thinks someone is hurting him.

OMG, Dana, I just saw your post. All my hopes that your son is doing better! That's awful enough with any child, and the worry and heartache is enough to make anyone frantic. To add onto that not being able to explain what's going on, or that it's going to be okay... Words aren't adequate. I'm thinking a big hug at all of you.
