Oh I'm sorry dear.off topic: please forgive.
So I am pretty darn depressed.
I was asked to do a furniture inventory of the building which I initially argued against because I didn’t really see the value-added. And it was going to take quite a bit of time. But the boss insisted and I rolled up my sleeves.
Then, after contemplating it, I thought why don’t I incorporate the use of intelligent dynamic furniture blocks so that when I am done, I can extract the data to a spreadsheet whenever needed and it would be automatically updatable at any time in the future. And I could also extract just the data for certain rooms so that when we go in to do a room reconfiguration we would know exactly what we had and what we needed and could craft a concise list of exactly what we needed to buy or bring up from the warehouse to do the work.
I crafted some intelligent blocks and showed the boss the potential. He hadn’t even known it was possible and He loved it.
And then with his next breath he asked me to write a read-me file so that if they got rid of me that a novice could still operate the blocks and extract the data.

DH actually has turned down jobs to be part of a bigger team for that reason. he tends to be the sole IT guy who also does most of the internal programing and DBA administration and chose to go broad so he was at places that he was hard to replace . His dad was in the aerospace industry in So Cal when it all melted down and it really affected him. I hear stories like this and I understand those choices.
When I did have to do layoffs as a manager, I used to argue for better over cheaper with employees. But I was in areas that that made a difference, and even then it was a hard fight. Id take this time to remind then even if they could get the info out, they would not be as creative and clever with its use as you will, who built it.
I am 100% of the opinion that shipping does this. I have Turkeys on the property and expose all chicks to them for a fake Mareks vacc. You also have to remember that there are hundreds of different types of Mareks and you can only vaccinate against a few. On the other hand, if you are not going to practice stiff bio-security, and have people over who are around a lot of birds, you do expose them to a lot more. I don't vaccinate but have told people who want birds for petting zoos, public places or are around a lot of bird farms to think about it.Isn't that the truth. My CL roo was put down due to legs issues and I have a CL hen I need to put down for the same thing. I believe shipping stresses them and sort of triggers the disease symptoms through the vaccine.
OK, now back to catching up on the thread,I hit quote instead of multi and was chatting early..
