It may be more like your PO might be keeping them if they aren't getting boxes. I've never had a problem getting mine and I usually order 6 boxes/25 each.

we can get flat rate boxes, but the ones we want are not available except in small.

There are lots of things that make an Ameraucana an Ameraucana but a Red Comb is a requirement. Slate colored legs, most are solid color, pea comb, muff and beards and blue egg genes just to name a few.

Exactally. I have an EE who if you looked at her, she'd be dead on for Ameraucana. Untill you check out her egg, and it's way bigger that my true Ameraucana and has a greenish tint. However, I wouldn't give up Noisy for the world, her eggs won me a blue ribbon at the fair last year and she's laying like every day right now!!! I'll hav a full rail of her eggs in the bator this weekend I think!

Is anyone over in that area who can help her? I think Michelle Reese may be the closest, but she is still 1 hr. 45 min. away.

I am really close to Polk, Oh. That is where I go to get my shipping boxes from my hatchery. Ashtabula is a bit of a drive though. Says it is just about 2 hrs one way.
