we can get flat rate boxes, but the ones we want are not available except in small. It may be more like your PO might be keeping them if they aren't getting boxes. I've never had a problem getting mine and I usually order 6 boxes/25 each.

If it was me..... I would get a small ziplock type bag and put the egg in it. That way if something happens it will not mess the bator or other eggs. Don't close the back just sit the egg in it.
I'd be happy to "help" with any extras you get! My little girl still doesn't have a mate. Granted she's only a month old, so I think I've got a bit of time to find one.you can NEVER have too many right?!?!?!![]()
Exactally. I have an EE who if you looked at her, she'd be dead on for Ameraucana. Untill you check out her egg, and it's way bigger that my true Ameraucana and has a greenish tint. However, I wouldn't give up Noisy for the world, her eggs won me a blue ribbon at the fair last year and she's laying like every day right now!!! I'll hav a full rail of her eggs in the bator this weekend I think! There are lots of things that make an Ameraucana an Ameraucana but a Red Comb is a requirement. Slate colored legs, most are solid color, pea comb, muff and beards and blue egg genes just to name a few.
Nahhhhh, just hang out in pjs with cocoa and us all day...... How many more winter days can you do that?I really should get off my tush and get some stuff down around here since I'm home. No motivation at all!

Ams can lay green eggs too.... they need some work in the egg color department. That is on my list, just not at the top.
Okay, guys and gals-I am looking for help for one of our dear moderators, Wynette. She is in Michigan and needs some eggs from Ashtabula, OH. She said the old-timer that has them has tried mailing eggs once before, and it was a disaster, so he doesn't want to try again. Here is what she is asking:
Is anyone over in that area who can help her? I think Michelle Reese may be the closest, but she is still 1 hr. 45 min. away.![]()
come on you can do it.I really should get off my tush and get some stuff down around here since I'm home. No motivation at all!
