Awesome, thank you! I wasn't planning on turning either... I shovel poop enough, between shoveling onto the car then off into the compost pile!

A LONG TIME! My first pile of compost is now ready for the garden. I have 6 more NOT ready. Hubby turns them some but not often. My piles are JUST wood shavings and chicken poop.

You use a CAR for that?

Just got home from a LONG day of driving. Picked up two 1202s though one is going to live elsewhere and got o go and visit our weaner piglets!!!!! Very exicting. Also the guy that I got the cabinets from through in some hardware cloth goose/emu holders for the racks and a hatching basket with high sides and three dividers AND a bag of organic pork and beef cuts! Oh and he have me $40 off the price of the bators for gas!!!! Super nice guy! Have a feeling we'll be doing more business in the future! Hope all is well with everyone. I'm going to help a little 10month old learn how to walk and maybe take a nap!

Good luck with that. All my babies were good sleepers, even nappers TILL they hit 2. They are up till 11 most nights and the 2 year old is not coping well with no nap... his choice though. They will all walk in time. But it is fun watching them learn.

Oh.....

I picked up 2 Males and 3 females of Exchequer Leghorn chicks the other day. I am sooo excited.

They are so cute. Don't care if these sell good or not they are egg laying machines so they are welcomed to stay. Lol

Also got some White Leghorns 2 males and 6 females

And 4 Light Brown Leghorn Females.

And MF Leghorn eggs in the bator. Lol..... Think I have enough differant colors of leghorns now.

I don't think ExL are egg laying machines.... not sure but they don't lay like a WL. I was working with a chicken friend on incressing production and egg size. I think both are issues with other colors of Leghorns. But still I LOVE the ExL so pretty! I will have some soon. My crosses are laying, I may cross them with each other just to get more ExL till my ExL grow up.

I have a question for the mods....I have a pair of Bantam Black Sumatras, and a pair of Blue Brassy Backs, they lay every other day...can I offer them if the other person agrees to get them in two shipments? As in 2 sumatra and 2 brassy back and then again when I get the rest? Or does everyone think that would be a PITA?

As long as you make it clear on the swap but honestly, you are hurting yourself in shipping costs.

Morning guys! I woke up to 7 beautiful dead baby buns

She didn't cover them at all and they got cold. One was a beautiful little chocolate too. I'm hoping this is just first time mom error.

My Ex Leg's are my favorite of all my birds. They are not high production but man are they pretty! Enjoy them!!

I just went and picked up 6 Dragon Asel youngsters! Goodness! I normally will be the first to say Asel are ugly... Not these. These are the best representation of their breed in America that I have seen so far. VERY VERY Nice birds. Two trios! DH is over the moon. He says thank you CPL and he is in your debt.

. Hopefully she will take better care of any future babies. What type of rabbit? We have had Rex and something else (the name escapes me at the moment). I have looked into getting lionhead, but I am not sure I will.
