Hatching Eggs / Paypal CHAT Thread

Now it is my turn to rant a little:

I have a few searches saved for hatching eggs on Ebay. A couple of days ago I got a notice that there is a result for my search for Bielefelders. Someone has a presale of hatching eggs that will be shipped AFTER September 20! Ebay has a rule against offering presales-it must be shipped within thirty days, so they have the estimated arrival as April 30. I reported them for violation of the rules, but nothing has been done about it. Now today I got a notice that there is a Partridge Barthuhner egg auction up (for delivery after October 1st) from the same person!

I reported him two days ago for fraudulent listing. Read the description closely. It has several untrue statements.

CJ sending you some blue eggs tomorrow. I have extras. Girls are laying quite well. You will get some tomorrow and then whatever for next week.

We are 95% done becoming an LLC, should have the final papers next week after finalizing everything today.

In FL ag exempt applies to property taxes, not sales tax. You have to become a registered busniess and apply for sale/use tax certificate here and then can only apply it to items directly related to your business. So like a bakery can not get tax free on lumber. A chicken breeder cant get tax free on water founts, feed pans ect (because they are for use not resale). be sure you read YOUR states Department of Revenue site, and Department of Agriculture as well as county and city/town (if you live in one) laws concerning business and being legitimate.

Hmmm...maybe I should put my Black Barts up and trump his.

Seriously I don't think he realizes how slow these barts grow. One girl is laying, the other not. And either I have a gay rooster or he isn't mature enough. I have noticed his comb has gotten bigger.

I don't understand why anyone would prebuy eggs for October. What if this person's flock gets killed by a predator or some other natural disaster? How long does paypal and ebay cover you if you don't receive your item? I know someone that prepaid for lavender orpington chicks last year and never got them. The seller just kept putting off shipping for various reasons. Then he tried to send her some type of marans instead. I don't know what ever became of that situation, but I know the whole ordeal lasted months.

I have a lavender orp rooster that has no interest in breeding. I actually went and got another rooster and tossed him in the pen with the first one. They are totally fine with eachother, don't fight or anything. Apparently the first one has a testosterone shortage and the other one knows it.
